Our Alu Screen has a 5% openness, with an aluminium coating on the back. Metallised fabrics offer a combination of functionality and design that is hard to match with conventional fabrics. They provide glare control when looking through them and great thermal comfort thanks to their heat regulation.
The aluminium coating of the metallised fabrics reflects some of the energy entering the window before it is converted into heat. This means that neither the fabric nor the room heats up. In summer, it therefore reduces the need for air conditioning. In winter, the metal coating acts as an insulator. In other words, it prevents both heat and cold from being transferred through the window.
